1. What exactly is Lip Blush?
Lip Blush is a type of cosmetic tattooing technique designed to enhance the natural beauty of the lips by providing them with a subtle flush of color and definition.

2. How long does the Lip Blush procedure take?
The procedure typically takes between 2.5 to 3.5 hours, including consultation, color selection, and application.

3. Does the Lip Blush procedure hurt?
While pain tolerance varies from person to person, a topical numbing cream is applied throughout the procedure to minimize discomfort.

4. How long does Lip Blush last?
Lip Blush can last between 2-3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, sun exposure, and lifestyle habits. Touch-ups are recommended to maintain the color's vibrancy.

5. Are there any side effects or downtime after the procedure?**
Some mild swelling and redness immediately after the procedure are normal. The color will appear bolder initially but will fade to a more natural shade within 4-7 days.

6. How do I choose the right color for my Lip Blush?
Isabelle will guide you in selecting a shade that complements your natural skin tone and desired outcome. If you have a lip color that you like, you may bring that as an example. We offer a wide spectrum of shades to ensure the results align with your desired aesthetic and natural coloring.

7. Can I get Lip Blush if I have fillers?
Yes, fillers won't interfere with the Lip Blush procedure. However, if you are planning on getting more than one syringe in your lips, we recommend doing that before getting Lip Blush.

8. What's the difference between Lip Blush and traditional lip tattoos?
Unlike traditional lip tattoos, which can be heavy and more opaque, Lip Blush offers a more natural, translucent, and refreshed look, mimicking a soft, blushed appearance.

9. How should I prepare for the procedure?
It's advisable to avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications 24 hours before the procedure. Additionally, lips should be free of any cuts, cold sores, or blemishes.

10. What is the aftercare for Lip Blush?
Aftercare includes avoiding spicy food, hot beverages, and refraining from touching the treated area. It's also essential to keep the lips moisturized and protected from direct sun exposure.

6. Are there any side effects?
It's normal to experience some redness and swelling immediately after the procedure. However, these symptoms subside within a few days. We always recommend a patch test to ensure you have no allergic reactions to the pigments.

7. Can I undergo these procedures if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
It's generally advised to postpone cosmetic tattooing procedures until after pregnancy and breastfeeding. We will not accept appointments for clients that are pregnant or breastfeeding.

What if I get cold sores?

If you have a history of cold sores, you will need to take an anti-viral 3 days prior to the procedure, the day of, and 3 days following.
